Our Guide to Paris
Paris is a city that has been close to our heart. The day after our wedding we went to Paris and we've been spending every anniversary there since. A few weeks ago we revisited the city of love and we thought it was time to share some of our Paris recommendations with you guys. We love walking around the city to people-watch. Parisians are so well dressed and the streets are so beautiful. When your legs are tired from walking it's also so nice hopping on an electric city transport vehicle to see the city while moving around. Scroll down and see pictures from our latest trip to Paris and some of our recommendations for the city.
Stay here:
Tinah Paris / Located at Champs Elysées
Best if you're mostly interested in spending your weekend shopping. Located directly next to the Champs Elysées this small hotel is in the best spot.
Hôtel L'Échiquier Opéra Paris / Located in 10th arrondissement
We fell in love with this hotel. Beautifully decorated, great breakfast and the location is a 10. Nearby Rue La Fayette and surrounded by great bistro's and restaurants.
Eat here:
Le Bistrot de la Place / Located at Place Sainte-Catherine in Le Marais
The area of Le Marais is so nice and there are so many good restaurants.
It's a classic French restaurant and the food is nothing less than wonderful.

Pizzeria Popolare / Located in 9th arrondissement
The best pizza's in town, period. Traditional napolitean pizza crusts are truly the one (not only) reason to go here.
Perrûche / Located at rooftop of Printemps
The view here is so good! You will of course have to get reserve your spot because this restaurant is popular. Delicious wine and most romantic when sundown hits.
Kozy Kanopé / Located in 9th arrondissement
A lovely all day breakfast/lunch spot! We recommend getting the Pistachio Raspberry Paradise and Sexy Benny Egg.
Le Vrai / Located in Montmartre
The staff here is so so nice. A great place for good food, wine and positive vibes only. When they asked why we were in Paris and we told them we had our yearly anniversary, the staff totally surprised us with a special dessert with quite literal fireworks!
Drink here:
Maison Sauvage / Located in Saint-Germain-des-Prés
A lovely place that we stumbled upon, but now it is for sure on our list for next time we are in Paris. Located at one of the more busy streets in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, an upcoming trendy area in Paris. A busy place for aperitivo, great for people-watching.
Hôtel Costes / Located at Jardin des Tuileries
Have drinks at their 'bar' area. They are a bit more pricy but the atmosphere is so good. And you might be spotting some celebrities while you're there since this hotel is a famous stay.

Paris has many hidden galeries that you have to know of. Galerie Vivienne has that authentic Paris feel with cute bookshops and bakery's.

The first department store in the world, founded in 1838. An elegant atmosphere and a refined selection of high-end products and services make Le Bon Marché the most selective department store in Paris.
Enjoy these places:
La Galérie Dior / Located at Avenue Montaigne
Since March '22 the works of no one less than Christian Dior are to be admired at La Galerie Dior. An hommage to one of the greatest visionairs of fashion. Make sure to reserve your sport in advance.
Lunch date on the Seine / Located at Bateaux Parisiens
We reserved a boating lunch across the Seine river and it was everything we hoped for. Luxury foods, polite waiters making sure you're not running out of champagne or wine while accompanied with traditional French music. Amazing.
